This is a guitar feedback symphony written for
metaphysical
practitioners. I took about three months with a 2-track
recorder doing bits and pieces on full-moons and
appropriate
planetary settings to get it right! The original 2 track cassette recordings were used
in 2025 for a 40 Year anniversary Release. This is some of my early true
atmospheric industrial.

MONOTHEISM 6/85
I returned with a blast of volume and energy the next
month with an album I wrote overnight in an intense
jam session. I added a good round of feedback harmonies
to smooth off the grind. I didn't scream as much on
this one.

INSIDE THE CIRCLE 7/85
The mother of all metaphysical albums, I experimented
with theme music and wrote a accompanying synapsis
of a screenplay for this one. Wicked 'n' heavy, Inside
contains a plethora of sounds and expanded music theory.
A couple of songs were added to the set-list.

SPELLNOCTURNAL 9/85
Around this time many of the alternative clubs in Atlanta
were closed or closing, and speedmetal and hardcore
were beginning to enjoy commercial success. Through
Underground Records I was beginning to hear more simplified
punk influences and upstart techno-industrial bands.
On the inside things were changing, on the outside
the scene stagnated. Everybody was complaining, so
I paid no attention and kept on writing and playing
whenever I could.

ANOTHER FINE DAY OF DREAMING 10-11/85
Nice grooves with a laid-back attitude prevail here,
but there's enough high octane kick in here to cook!
I created Another with the pretense that diversity
was making a comeback. Didn't ever play any of this
live, but should have.

SYLLABIC FUSION 12/85
Definitely grindcore industrial, and meant to be that
way. I threw in a punk epic at album's end to really
screw some heads up. The backlash against commercialism
is beginning to peak.
