Breaking in the new year, I began to target a harder edged sound, with music I could play moreso with a band, instead of the trippy stuff. Originally these recordings were to be Tonal Intercourse, but I came up with so many songs I split this album and put the sleazier stuff on Tonal Intercourse. Pretty heavy album, but no recordings were ever made.
Lines Are Deeper Short EP made up of 2 new songs and 3 older tunes which I dug up out of a folder I found behind the filing cabinet.....The two newer ones are actually acoustic based. No recordings have been made of the material contained on this EP.......
Hambone Around this time I was getting immersed in my work both at WEA and with Underground Records. Philbro and I were jamming pretty heavy with Equinox, so free time was at a minimum. Philbro and I were beginning work on the second Equinox tape, when I found a slew or recordings made with various bands at the Metroplex, which was Atlanta'a premier new music club of the 80's. I remasterd the recordings (some of them done with a stereo cassette deck) and released this LP on Halloween night with a bash. Somewhere out there, it lives!!!
Rock N Roll Rocket
The thought behind the concept of this music on this album is the animal emotions that music affects. I really like this album, that's why someday I think I'll complete it for release. The lyrics and music are there, just the recordings are needed. The main songwriting was done during an exciting period, when I finally realized I need to go back to Underground and start kicking somebody's ass!! Pretty much, these songs power up and take major names!!
